What to think about when voting for a judge

from a lawyer running from the Fulton County DA's office

Will Wooten was part of the District Attorney team in Fulton, Georgia, prosecuting Donald Trump for election racketeering in his attempts to overturn the 2020 election — Will is now running for the Georgia Court of Appeals against the judge who ended that case. He’s the first judicial candidate we’ve talked to on Choose Your Fighter, a series where we speak to candidates running to flip state and local seats from red to blue. We covered:

  • Why he’s running for this seat (hint: it’s not a revenge tour)

  • What to think about when you’re voting for a judge — it’s not like voting for any other seat

  • What does the court of appeals even do, and why does it matter?

  • How to bring humanity back to the bench

Support Will’s race here, and follow him on Instagram and Facebook. The election is May 19, and early voting begins April 27!
